The quality of our Professional-Line is even better than that of our standard products, which are already very well manufactured.
Even higher quality components are used compared to the standard oil drain tanks, the higher tare weight makes this particularly obvious.
- The acrylic glass tank is additionally fastened to the boiler with 4 stud bolts, which increases the stability of the tank enormously. You will not find this fastening method in almost any competing product.
- the bottom plate of the acrylic glass tank is made of aluminum and not of simple plastic, as is usually the case.
- the fitting on top of the acrylic glass container consists of precisely turned parts made of aluminum. Usually those parts are made of simple plastic
- the oil gauge hose on the side of the boiler is effectively protected against damage by a sturdy cover.
- extremely stable, kink-proof hoses
-massive clamping device for height adjustment made of high-quality die-cast iron
- a manometer as pressure indicator for the boiler
- two circumferential beads in the boiler increase the stability
-larger fixed castors for easier movement
You have 2 options for changing the oil:
1. oil extraction:
To do this, connect the compressed air to the top of the acrylic glass container, where a vacuum is created which sucks the oil out of the engine with the help of one of the 6 extraction probes supplied.
The acrylic glass container has a capacity of 9 litres and allows you to check the exact amount of oil that has been extracted.
Various newer Audi and Smart models no longer have oil drain plugs; in those cases, the used oil must be extracted via this method.
2. Conventional draining via oil drain plug:
The oil collection trolley can be easily moved by the 4 rollers. Now the desired height of the collection tray can be adjusted steplessly.
The height of the collection tray is adjusted steplessly by pushing up/lowering the drain pipe.
After loosening the oil drain plug, the oil flows into the 80-litre reservoir.
The collection tray has its own strainer, so seals and screws do not get lost.
To empty the 80-litre reservoir, connect compressed air (compressor not included) to the compressed air connection at the top.
If you now close the ball valve at the top of the drain pipe, a slight overpressure is created in the tank and the waste oil is pressed out of the tank through the drain hose.
The curved end of the hose is perfect for hooking into a waste oil barrel.
Make sure that the oil temperature is between 40°C and 60°C before emptying the boiler.
A level indicator is attached to the outside of the reservoir on the side, there you can easily read the level of the reservoir.
