Because it is featured with an extra large viewing window ( 98 mm x 80 mm ) its especially suitable for TIG-welding
This welding helmet has a 'grinding function' which prevents it from darkening when used for grinding works.
The helmet has an alarm function which is activated at low battery status.
Additionally, there is a testing function. So you can test the darkening of the visor before every use
All these features prevent damage of eyes while welding.
